Asa Rules Judah

⁹ In the twentieth year of Jeroboam the king of Israel, Asa began to rule as king of Judah. ¹⁰ He ruled for forty-one years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Maacah the daughter of Abishalom. ¹¹ And Asa did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, like David his father.
